Technically, day by day, we "write something worth reading" without even knowing it. Well, sort of.
Social human beings are constantly sharing stories verbally, more than we realize. Some are significant, some are funny, others are informative. But even saying something as simple as, "After I picked Anna up from school today, we had a nice lunch" is telling a story. It wasn't very developed, and there wasn't anything out of the ordinary in the events that transpired, but characters were introduced and those characters did something. This is reverting back to the elementary categorization of subject and predicate.
In quoting that simple sentence alone, one has actually written something worth reading... in the idea that verbal expression and requited attention are indeed writing & reading a story.
Based on the theory offered above, every day, every moment is a story in time. Our lives are a book--possibly even a handbook for future generations. So, if we're writing our own novels, we might as well make them good! Every author wants readers, right?
The idea here is to not only write the story of your life, but also make it worth reading. Create such an amazing plot twist, or such a sickening cliffhanger in your story that others take notice. Be impulsive. Lead a unique life.
Live your life -- or write your story -- so well, that others want to write about it too. Do something worth writing about!
